| | | Less Than Traditional is an ongoing series of patterns and accessories easy enough for a beginner’s first project yet fast and fun for the experienced quilter! Our goal with this series is to take old traditional patterns that were intermediate to advanced in skill level and make them easy enough for any skill level! Every pattern from the Less Than Traditional series begins with a Starter Set. There are three sizes of starter sets. What size you use depends on which patterns you make. Each starter set comes with the 2 template pieces required for our technique and a complete step by step easy to follow pattern with the basic series directions complete with written instructions and diagrams. Once you have the starter set or sets, any time you see a new pattern that appeals to you, you will just purchase that “Add On” pattern. To keep the costs of the add on patterns down, we do not reprint the basic instructions in each pattern so you are only buying them once! Click on any of the images below for a larger view. |

(For the Medium and Large Sets) This wonderful ruler has markings to make your Less Than Traditional quilts faster and more accurate. Made of a fluorescent color, the edges of your ruler “light up” your cutting or marking line instead of casting a shadow like traditional rulers. Lines are laser etched on so they won’t wear off and help to grip your fabric as you mark or cut. 6” x 18” makes it a great all purpose ruler! |
